Fukushima Masanori was a native of Owari, a son of a
cooper, and retainer of Hideyoshi (Nº T50). After Hideyoshi's death he served
under the Tokugawa clan. For his outstanding deeds at the battle of Sekigahara
(1600) he was made great lord of the provinces of Aki and Bingo.
