Folding screen (byobu) made of 4 parts. Strong painting on silk. Signature and red seal: Koga. Artist: Kanô Kôga (1897-1953). About 1925/30. Very good condition. About the artist see Merritt/Yamada p 53, Roberts p 69. Size: 155 x 205 cm (height x length).

High folding screen (byobu) made of 6 parts. Fine painting with mineral colours and gofun on a gold leaf background in the style of the Kano school. Edo period, about 1780-1800. Some restorations at the lower part, otherwise good to very good condition. Size: 170 x 373 cm (height x length).

High folding screen (byobu) made of 6 parts. A panoramic view of a mountainous region seen through silvery clouds. Painting with ink, just a few colours, and gofun on a silver leaf paper. Edo period. The silver is oxidized and the paper became darker. Size: 172 x 370 cm (height x length).

Very nice and fine painting of the Rimpa school, painted with mineral colours and gofun on a gold leaf background. With an indefinite seal. Edo period, c1800-1820. Very good condition.
